I recently had the pleasure of staying at this rental house with my family and we were absolutely blown away by the breathtaking ocean view. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, but it was the view that really stole the show. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with sweeping views of the ocean from every room in the house. Whether we were cooking in the kitchen, lounging in the living room, or relaxing on the deck, we were constantly mesmerized by the beauty of the sea. The house was also very well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, the bedrooms were cozy and well-appointed, and the bathrooms were clean and modern. One of the highlights of our stay was watching the sunset over the ocean from the comfort of the deck. We also enjoyed taking long walks on the nearby beach and exploring the charming coastal town that was just a short drive away. Overall, I would highly recommend this rental house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with stunning ocean views. It truly exceeded our expectations and provided us with a memorable vacation that we will never forget.

Worth the price and then some!! Location was amazing both the views(I have no words) and the proximity to Hwy 1(within feet)! Perfect base for our day trips to Santa Cruz and Pacifica! House is small cozy but has everything you need and is sooooo cozy!! We really enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub overlooking the ocean, cooking burgers and pizza on the grill and cozy evenings watching movies on the smart tv and the world’s dreamiest couch! Will definitely stay here again if in the area! Thank you!!

Ok honest review time. The place is beautiful and clean, just like the pictures. Unfortunately what isn’t pictured is the noise. We paid a lot of money to stay here, but neither of us could sleep almost at all due to 1. Street noise from cars on a busy road (you definitely aren’t sleeping to the sounds of the ocean), 3. CONSTANT loud dripping sound right next to the window from a poorly designed gutter 2. Uncomfortably hot despite turning all thermostats off (there is like 5 of them or more) 3. Worst mattresses we’ve EVER slept on. It was our 10 year anniversary and I couldn’t even sleep with my husband in bed because it was so uncomfortable. For this kind of luxury stay I would expect nice mattresses. We were not impressed by the old hot tub, but in fairness it DID work. We were very off-put when the maintenance man just showed up on the property and our dogs (and us) freaked out by the intrusion. On the good side, they allowed our dogs to come, very well stocked, nice bathrooms

MANAGEMENT COMPANY NEEDS TO GET ITS ACT TOGETHER! NON-EXISTANT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!
Positive: Adequate parking. Negative: We did not stay in the house we reserved. On arrival we found that the area had been hit by a storm and electricity was out since 2 days prior. We weren't notified of this until (and by e-mail -who reads emails while driving) we were less than an hour from the location (our drive was 4 hours long) that day. We tried the contact number on the contract 8 times (started at 3:30pm) on arrival and NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. Called the maintenance person as we wanted to turn on the gas heater to keep warm (we had no heat, lights or hot water). Maintenance said he could not help us and gave us the "owners" number, which we called twice and finally received a call back about 4 hours later (9pm). The person (Sarah) who called us back finally moved us to another house (as per contract) about 3 miles away that was fully functioning, however, the location did not have the same amenities, view, etc., we paid for. The replacement home was somewhat centrally located and comfortable, however needs some serious sprucing up and cleaning. The shower in the master bedroom was moldy and full of spider webs. We understand that the storm that knocked out power was an act of God, however, the company which manages these rentals (The Wave Houses) really need to regroup. Contact people sooner about issues! Why no response from your designated contact office at 3:30pm on a Monday afternoon? Why couldn't the maintenance person help us? Why did it take owners intervention to resolve the issue at 9:00pm? This also happened last summer when initially renting the house. We repeatedly called the contact numbers on the contract for help. Did not receive a call back until 2 days later. So, the bottom line is this...original house is great, however, if you need help or questions answered good luck. Basically they have your money and you are on your own. I will think long and hard before I rent from them again or refer them to any of my friends/family.

First of all, the management company was involved and incredible. They addressed our problems fast and efficiently. But there were tons of problems. We stayed for three weeks. - the beds were lacking. The mb frame squeaks nonstop which kept us up. The actual mattress even made noise. It was absolutely horrible to sleep on. They did bring a foam pad and that did help yet still uncomfortable. - my son didn’t like the pullouts in the front room so they brought by a rollaway. That was nice of them. - the hot tub didn’t work the whole time we were there besides the last day, apparently - the oven didn’t work - the toilet ran nonstop, then the other bathroom’s chain broke in the toilet. They got it fixed but then the hallway bathroom toilet ran nonstop. - the blind on the master bedroom doesn’t go up - the couch is AWFUL. It is made of foam or something. - the plastic chairs around the dining table are cheap. Our son leaned back a little and the whole thing broke. I’m glad it wasn’t me since I’m a 45 year old woman. He didn’t get hurt in the fall. - the dishwasher’s top rack fell completely off and we had to clean up for 45 minutes the glass that broke and shattered. The view is gorgeous though. I loved that. And the kitchen is well stocked. The neighborhood is quiet.

Positive: Loved the place. It was overlooking the ocean. It was exactly the same as the pics posted on booking. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. They had extra sheets, pillow covers and blankets as well as comforter. I have recommended this place to friends and family and def planning on coming back. Negative: Check in and check out time. Would be great if folks could check in early and/or do a late check out. I requested the property management team if I could do a late check out as the check in time was 4pm and check out time was 11am. My request was denied. This doesn't give travelers the full experience of 24 hours. During the winter time, it gets dark around 5pm so you are left with not much of a daylight. :(

What a slice of heaven this beautiful coastal home was! My family and I enjoyed our 2-night stay at Andreia’s beach retreat over Christmas weekend. Can’t beat that serene oceanfront view with outstanding ocean vantage points looking out from the living room, the house deck, the hot tub, and the backyard! Loved the open-concept kitchen layout with ample storage space in the refrigerator and cabinets. Fully-stocked with great kitchen supplies to cook home meals during our stay. Another feature we thoroughly enjoyed: the heated bathroom floor tiles. Warm feet=happy feet. Fireplace worked well to keep the family and kids cozy in the living room and the two pull-out sleeper chairs were super comfortable for my partner and I to sleep on! Firepit on the deck was great for late-night campfire vibes stargazing by the crashing ocean waves. Pictures on the listing don’t do the gorgeous views as much justice as in-person, so don’t hesitate to book for your next relaxing coastal getaway!

The house was well equipped, and we found everything we needed, even extra chairs in the garage! Andreia very promptly brought us new propane tanks when we ran out of gas for the fire pit, which was very much appreciated. There is a grocery store and great restaurants a short drive away. The home was decorated in beautiful, peaceful colors that helped us relax. I would definitely return!

We truly enjoyed our stay with our friends at this house. The house is in a very small subdivision along the highway and is good for 2 couples or a family. The yard is wonderful and has a couple places to sit as well as the hot tub. This would also be a great place to “work from home”…that view… The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We went to the grocery in town and some things we picked up were already in the house (e.g., coffee for coffee makers, salad dressing.) They even have spices in a spice drawer (although you may want to bring salt). You can tell some items have been left as guests stay there - convenient. There is both a thermos coffee pot as well as a keurig with coffee for both. We cooked all of our meals, and we had everything needed. It’s easy to walk to a couple places but you may not feel very safe as the highway is quite busy. The walkable gas station has the basics. There’s a pie place about to open next to the gas station. Positive: No comment Negative: We had an issue with the kitchen door key and attempted to contact the number given for property assistance. We made at least 4 calls to the number with no call back. We called again the next day and someone answered but with no acknowledgement of our attempts to contact them. He then sent someone to assist us in resolving the issue. Perhaps giving the instructions about this lock/key it's own heading would help instead of it being part of the backyard gate code paragraph.

This was truly a wonderful getaway and one of the best experiences we've had on Airbnb! We loved the openness of the common area to take in the spectacular view and nature. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the equipments you'll need to host a dinner. We also thoroughly enjoyed the amenities (e.g. jacuzzi, outdoor fire pit) with our family. Andreia is very responsive and accommodating. I'd highly recommend booking this place now!

The pictures don’t do I justice 1000% better view than expected. Planned a few trips to the city, but ended up just sitting on the deck watching the ocean. Everything was spotless and from most appearances new. If I had one complaint, it would be that I left to early. I could have stayed another week!

This house is fantastic!! The view is absolutely gorgeous. You have tons of outdoor space with comfortable outdoor furniture and a big hot tub. It was the perfect size for our family and the couch is so comfortable. Bathrooms and kitchen are super clean you can tell they actually care about it and the house is not treated like a typical rental. We will definitely stay here again.!!!!

The outside furniture was nice and there was a lot of space to enjoy the view. It is beautiful and a great find! The kitchen and bathrooms has everything we needed.I hope to go back sometime! Let's start with the view: No pictures or videos would do that view justice. The only thing close would be a VR headset. The place has amazing amenities, lots of space indoors and outdoors, and the reason why most people have and will visit the place: the view. My friends and I will definitely be rebooking later this year. Andreia was easy to communicate with, especially when I had a handful of questions during the booking process.

A wonderful place to stay. We had a relaxing time and enjoyed the beautiful home away from home. A few things that did not work well....Locking/unlocking the front door. Had no idea you had to lift up. Very frustrating. Oven did not work which was very frustrating trying to figure the digital display out. Needs to be reconfigured. So we cooked on the stove top which worked well. Spa maintenance man came and was not aware that he was suppose to be there. Worried someone broke in. He also did not speak any English and could not tell us if he put in chemicals and how long to wait before going in. So we went in soon after and we had to get out because our skin got very itchy. Took showers and still did not take away the itch. View is spectacular, sunsets amazing and super clean.

My family and I loved this house and it’s location! We traveled up the coast of California with our one year old son, stopping at various hotels and airbnbs, but, I would have to say this was our favorite place out of them all! It was furnished beautifully inside and out. The hot tub was an added bonus but the views are what made us fall in LOVE with this place! The kitchen was super spacious and fully stocked with everything you need to cook a thanksgiving dinner (seriously) so we picked up food at a local grocery store and enjoyed the views while cooking dinner. It was absolutely perfect and I will have this memory forever. I would absolutely go back to this place 10/10 would recommend.

Can't wait to schedule our next stay at this fabulous place. Views, new modern construction, well decorated, close to great restaurants and the hike along old highway one was very interesting. Even though we lived in Moss Beach for 20+ years, we learned even more about the area during this walk. I recommend this place to anyone who love the sounds, smell and beauty of the pacific ocean.

Everything about Andreia's listing was spectacular, location being first. And secondly the professional design and decoration was beautiful, both interior and exterior. And the security was excellent. All of us ladies felt very safe even with Highway 1 being in such close proximity. We all especially enjoyed the ocean views, the hot tub, and the bocce court.
