We had a wonderful time gathering as a family for my wedding. The house was placed perfectly for us to have all the amenities of an intimate wedding within a 3 block radius. My only real complaints are the gas smell in the downstairs entry, and the neighbors / owners who complained about having too many vehicles and interrupting my wedding dinner. We were quiet, done by 9pm and parked in the slotted spaces but I had to have a conversation with management because the owners were supposedly receiving parking complaints and watching us on camera. But jarring but we were not doing anything wrong so management left after speaking with us and taking photos… I had let the host know about the amount of guests and time of completion prior to the dinner. We very much enjoyed our time otherwise.

Beautiful clean spacious home close to beach, walking trail, great restaurant
Positive: Location was fantastic, half a block from the beach, the walking trail, and a great restaurant with a happy hour. The house was clean and spacious. The main floor (up two staircases from the driveway) had an open living room with plenty of comfortable seating and great views, a well-equipped kitchen, two different dining rooms, a large King bedroom suite with shower and separate toilet, two queen bedrooms, and a shared bathroom with shower/tub. There was more sleeping space on the top floor. The decor was bright and airy, the furniture was comfortable. We felt very much at home. The instructions for checking out were clear and easy. We would stay here again. Negative: This part is information that wasn't in the rental info, so I am sharing it here just FYI. There is a separate apartment (not part of this rental) on the bottom floor of the large house, and the right side of the driveway is reserved parking for that tenant. We did not hear or see anyone in that apartment while we were here. The front door for this rental is up a set of steps from the driveway, and then up another set of steps from the front door to the main floor of the rental. Also, three bedrooms are on the main floor, with two additional twin beds and a queen bedroom on the top floor, up an inside staircase. There are no bathrooms on the top floor, so people who sleep up there have a bit of a trek to get down to the shared bathroom on the main floor. This rental might be challenging for people who have trouble climbing steps.

Andreia’s place was nice and steps to the beach. Kitchen was well equipped and the house is very spacious. The only issues were ants and someone visiting the house. Felt like privacy was lacking a bit but appreciated how accommodating Andriea was. The clean-up rules were not as excessive as most other airbnbs so that was appreciated as well. Overall, great location and a pretty cool house.

This home is beautiful. It is well stocked with all the amenities necessary to be comfortable. The beds were cozy, the kitchen was well stocked , the fire place was delightful. Unfortunately, there must have been a bug issue. The house had been sprayed with some sort of insecticide from top to bottom. There was no escaping the oder. It had even settled in the sheets. We opened as many windows as possible upon arrival and though it was better by day three, it was still pretty intense. In hindsight, if we had a plan B, we probably would have taken it. This could be just one of those unfortunate one time occurrences. The house is very lovely otherwise.

Fantastic home and location. Great space and wonderful view and walkable to restaurant and trails. I would reccommend. As mentioned by some previous guests, you can hear the tenant in the lower space showering,etc. Not too bad unless you are a light sleeper. A couple odd experiences happened while here: First, there was a very strong odor of either bug spray or lacquer. So much we had to air out the space a couple times and sleep with windows open the first night. Second, one of my guests was awake when someone opened her door and looked in her room late at night. Third, we had a bottle of wine about 80% full on the counter when we went to bed. in the morning it was empty. So either one of our guests was a sleepwalking, or, someone has access to the home (which we locked). If the latter, that is completely inappropriate and the owners need to be made aware. I honestly have no idea which happened. My guests brushed off the 3 things so no big deal. Great stay nonetheless.

This unit was cozy and in a great location. It has beautiful views and great walkability. We enjoyed the restaurant nearby. We enjoyed staying in and being cozy by the fire and watching the ocean from inside. We appreciated the multiple dining rooms and the chef's kitchen. We had everything we needed.. and loved having a cozy Christmas dinner with family. BUT!!!! PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT an "entire place"... it has shared walls that are very thin. Not ideal if you are a light sleeper or are seeking privacy.

We celebrated 60 years of marriage with our 2 children and their spouses. We played games, watched movies, ate fabulous dinners, shopped, attended events, dined out and took walks along the beautiful Pacific ocean. The house was perfect. It had a wonderful deck from which to view the ocean and lots of windows too. The kitchen was very convenient and the beds were luxurious and comfy. There were plenty of linens to accommodate everyones needs. Once you've climbed the ample number of stairs to the main floor the accommodations were perfect. Advice to guests - pack light so you won't have so many trips up and down the stairs!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house, it was spacious and right near the beach. It takes about a minute to get to the Miramar beach entrance. There is the coolest mural on the cealing in the living room. We had an overall great stay! The hosts were very responsive as well. The only suggestion I can think of would be to provide a hose out front for rinsing off sand. We will definitely be back.

This is a great place. It is not perfect, but it is close. There are only a few issues that prevent me from giving it 5 stars. First, the good things: 1. It has plenty of beds. We have four kids, and there were still extra beds which could have been used. 2. The location is astounding. If you stand on the front porch, you can see the ocean. If you open the windows, you can hear the ocean. You can smell the ocean. The sun was shining, and the beach was just a 3 minute walk away. An even larger beach would have been just a 5 minute walk away, but the bridge over the creek to that beach was under repair, meaning a drive or a much longer walk. However, that's not the property's fault, so not holding it against the property. 3. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, and we had no problem making whatever we wanted. 4. There were more than enough towels, sheets, etc. The property managers/owners did a really good job with that. 5. The spongebob mural is great for the kids. There were a few odd/strange things which are worth knowing about: 1. Stairs. Lots of stairs. If you have trouble with stairs, there are stairs to get into the property (you're only renting the second and third story - the first story is rented to someone else, permanent renters, I think), stairs to get to the laundry room, stairs to the third story (obviously). There are three rooms on the main floor, but if you need the extra four beds, they are on the third story, as is a beautiful patio. If you don't have a problem with stairs, no issues. 2. The people downstairs are friendly enough, but at one point, I did hear them yelling about killing someone. I'm pretty sure they were playing a video game. I hope. 3. Amazon kept delivering things to the door, and we kept getting calls from the management company as to what to do with the packages. I thought it strange that we rented a VRBO to become someone's delivery service. 4. The next property over is a very busy, overpriced restaurant. It didn't bother us at all (though they throw out large amounts of glass bottles all night long), but just be aware of that. 5. The main room heats up like an oven in the afternoon. You can open the windows to deal with that (and maybe there's an air conditioner? I didn't test that, since we went in February), but there are no screens on the windows. Some bugs, but not too bad. 6. HMB traffic sucks. So, the good significantly outweighs the odd stuff. Would highly recommend.

The Wave House was a nice stay. The house was huge and the actual rental space was quite big. The house was well stocked and very clean. Our family enjoyed the roof deck and Sponge Bob Loving room! We also enjoyed the space in the kitchen and the home’s proximity to the ocean, really one of a kind. One thing to note is the house is occupied by other residents or renters. Our encounter with them was not an issue everyone was friendly but this was unexpected. Also the front door foyer smelled heavily of chemical smell- there was an automatic air purifier by the front door, which tells us the smell was permanent. We needed to air out the home upon arrival for a day to get rid of the heavy fumes in the home.

Our family stayed here for 4 nights... Our parents, my sister + husband and 2 kids (ages 1 and 2) my family (me, hubby, 2 boys ages 5 and 7), my younger twin (adult) brothers and the house accommodated all of us. The only real complaint, and it's only a complaint if you're traveling with younger kids, is that the windows don't have screens so if you are a parent with little kids, be aware of that. Literally everything else about the property is wonderful!!

This is a lovely home to stay when you are vacationing with a larger group. It was very clean and well kept. The views are beautiful. Sitting on the porches was peaceful when taking in the views. The kitchen was roomy and easy to make meals. There are two dining rooms so you can feed larger groups. We loved the location. We walked down to the beach on two occasions and rode our bikes along the bike trail on numerous occasions. Loved our time here!

Overall, we had a really great experience. A couple of key takeaways: Property and location are beautiful and walkable, but don't rely on being able to park multiple vehicles easily, we struggled and had to shuffle our guests to different spots as there is not a lot of public parking nearby. Since we did host 9 total people, it did sometimes become challenging. There is plenty of space for 9 adults (as long as some are comfortable with bed sharing). The area was quiet at night and the beds were comfortable, everyone slept really well. When we arrived, the fridge was not working. We contacted the number provided through booking and they never sent a repair tech. We had to run to the store to get ice and salvage what we could in ice chests and had to get rid of some food we'd brought. Luckily, the fridge started working off and on. When I reached out to Andrea through the app, she was responsive. I recommend only contacting through the app and not bothering with the number service.

This was the perfect place to stay for the busy 4th of July holiday weekend! It had great views and was so easy to walk to the beach and delicious Miramar Beach Restaurant without worrying about finding a parking space and fighting crowds. The park area just off of Magellan was awesome for walking and riding our bikes. Really can't beat the location. The house was clean and well-equipped with tea and coffee, laundry soap, shampoo, etc. and tons of extra towels. We had 6 people staying and the floorplan was wonderful for us. The Spongebob Squarepants mural on the living room ceiling was maybe not as elegant as the rest of the space but definitely fun and interesting. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

It is close to restaurants and shops and great for walking the beach and watching the surfers. Highly recommend!

We couldn’t be more happy with our stay at Andreia’s place! The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked and the living room perfect for families. There was even more space than we anticipated and our three families were comfortably together and spread out at the same time. The location is perfect: close to the coastal biking trail and right behind Miramar Beach Restaurant. The host was responsive when we found a minor issue and with answering all our questions. Thank you Andreia for making our stay so memorable and idyllic! We made so many new memories together here. We will definitely be back again.

The first night was freezing and the thermostat wasn’t working but Andreia was responsive and sent someone over immediately and they fixed it. Next time the kids want a beach vacation, I’d consider the location again.

This place is an awesome location and the home is absolutely beautiful. There are a couple things that I will address directly with the owner that I’m sure won’t be an issue moving forward. Miramar is a hidden gem as I have stayed up all over the coast. Miramar restaurant is amazing and flying fish down the road has the best crab garlic bread I’ve ever had. Don’t order it anywhere else but there. I will be back next year!

Beautiful Vista. The house is specious and relatively well stocked. Easy to use fireplace and grill. Lots of kitchenware to use (no coffee or tea). Old but very comfortable furniture. The location can't be better, next to the beach and a great restaurant. For what we’re paying for this place it should be maintained better. The living room couches were in horrible condition. You still on a cushion and sink in and have springs poking you. There’s an arm of the sofa that’s unhinged and kept opening up too. There’s no temperature control and this wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Upstairs was over 80 degrees with no way to control that. Host said to open windows but there are no nets in windows which makes it difficult to open windows as there were many flying bugs attracted to light at night and if you have kids it’s dangerous. There’s also really dirty windows upstairs with chewed gum stuck on them.

Two short blocks to beach, and also lovely views from house, so you can see the ocean whether you’re having coffee in the morning from the breakfast nook or having a drink on the roof. Super clean, stocked kitchen including coffee, filters, plastic wrap etc. Bathrooms have soap, shampoo, plenty of towels. Hosts very easy to get in touch with. It does look over Miramar Beach restaurant parking lot but no noise issues.

What a wonderful home! Spacious, clean and comfortable. Barely a few minutes to walk to the beach, so close to awesome restaurants, I couldn’t be more pleased with the location. The view from inside AND outside is outstanding. The courtyard out front was a great gathering place as well. We were all so pleased we ended up adding an additional day to our stay. I can’t say enough about how easy it was to communicate with the host, Andreia. We had a great time and will surely return.

The best feature of this house is its amazing location. We walked along the beach day and night, and we fell asleep listening to the sounds of the ocean. Truly wonderful! The spaciousness and abundance of windows in the living area of the house were terrific, as was the outside patio on the third floor. We greatly enjoyed our stay! The only drawback is that it is advertised as having "the house to yourself" but there is actually another residence area at the rear of the first floor, and we could hear people a few times. It also impacts the parking right at the house, but there is ample parking next door if you have more than two vehicles.

Very nice relaxing home - we had a great time relaxing, watching movies, doing puzzles, playing games, and walking around the various trails. Loved the fireplace, and the shelves of glasses. There are (downstairs?) neighbors who were a little noisy, and a dog who kept moaning and whining very mournfully in the mornings, but that's not something that can be controlled. The view is amazing, and I'd love to come back in the summer or when it's warmer, so we can sit outside. The pictures are accurate although tall people need to mind their heads while upstairs. All in all, beautiful house, good communication from Andreia, and a very lovely location.

This is a very beautiful house, with a beautiful view. Andreia was very kind to allow us to celebrate my Mom's 50th birthday here. Andreia was very quick to response and helpful. My Mom, aunt, siblings and I were very happy with the accommodation. Very open space and lots of rooms enough for all of us. Lots of parking space too, which was a big relief for us coming in with more than one vehicle. There is a nice restaurant down the road "Miramar Beach Restaurant", very nice seafood, did not have to wait that long for food. There were a few issues at the property such as the refrigerator. The ice maker was not working and there is rust on the back wall of the refrigerator which was a concern for my aunt when we were putting food in there. The shower to the master bedroom, the drain sort of clogged up because the water took a while to go down. But the second shower still works fine which we did not make a big deal about the first shower. Other than that, it is still a lovely place with a lovely view. My Mom would love to come back again in the future. We all wanted to enjoy walking and sight seeing along the beach but the weather during that time was raining and windy. We would come back. This house was great! I think they are renting this home for a very fair price, as its incredibly roomy and the location can't be beat. It was so fun to be able to walk back and forth to the beach so easily. Home was very clean and beds were comfortable. We were traveling with a small child and felt it was very unsafe to not have screens on most all of the windows. Lastly, I think it should it be noted that the description online says that its a 3 story house but when we arrived we discovered that the first floor is rented out separately to someone else so you are sharing the property and have no access to the backyard as that is only accessed by the downstairs tenant. Ultimately, it worked out fine for us, as we spent most of our time at the beach and the views are all from the upstairs of the home. However, I would definitely have liked to know that about the property before booking. It was very confusing to arrive and realize that you are sharing the property. Overall, I would book this property again!

STAIRS!! Haha my cousin broke his knee, and ankle in September and we were not aware this place has so many stairs.. once you get up in the house it’s beautiful and relaxing. Everything about this place is great, only a few little things didn’t work like the fireplace, and if you have the tub jets on, you can hear it through the whole house. The kitchen is amazing but if you like to cook, take your own skillet (they only have 1), but plenty of soup pots. If you have little ones learning to walk, keep them away from the windows, they don’t have screens. This is a great place for family to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

A couple of notes for the place; - the AC is not strong enough, but you wouldn’t really need it because of the ocean breeze. - the main fridge was not cooling enough when we’re there. There was a smaller fridge for drinks, but it won’t be enough if you’re storing groceries to feed 9 people for 5 days.

What a fantastic stay! The house is beautiful and pristine. The leather couches in the living room are ridiculously comfortable, and we loved watching birds dive into the ocean from the breakfast nook. Beach access is just around the corner and there’s a path along the cliffs that’s perfect for a relaxing walk. Hosts were very responsive and communication in advance was great. They even offered to add a pack n play and a high chair to the property for us. Thank you!

We loved the chef’s kitchen with the giant Viking gas range! We laughed, played games, enjoyed the bird’s eye view on the deck. There is something extra special about this home. We couldn’t put our finger on it...but, it has a special magic! It’s a warm welcoming home. The beds are SO comfortable! The home was spotless. Neighbors were SO friendly. ALL positives here!!! The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep. Such good restful sleep!! We went for a nightly drink at the Miramar restaurant (lovely service) We walked the beach in the wee hours of daylight and we had the whole beach to ourselves!!! It’s a relaxing getaway. Worth EVERY penny! We never even watched T.V. Because we had so much FUN! It’s a magical home for families to reconnect! Thank you for our stay-

This was a wonderful way to start a vacation. Literally steps to the beach, with 180 degree ocean views. A glass of wine on the rooftop deck at sunset is not to be missed! Our kids loved collecting shells on the beach. Huge space, plenty of room for our family of four. The host was great at dealing promptly with a water issue that popped up during our time - it was fixed within 2 hours of when we noticed it. Thanks again.

Two other rooms and another bathroom. 3 rd level has an attic with 2 twin beds and a full bed. Host Andreia was very prompt and attended to our needs. Comfortable stay for 10 people. TV in each bedroom with CABLE. Large TV in the Living room. 2 Balconies to watch Fabolous Sunset or read a book with wine or have a beer!
