It was a perfect place for 4 adults. The upstairs loft was a challenge because of the low ceilings-they would be more conducive with children. We had a few questions once we got there and the property manager responded right away with solutions. Close to town and the beach as advertised.

The Penthouse is an off-shoot of the "Nantucket Whale Inn" and is great way to stay in downtown HMB. We had family visiting the Bay Area, and it was just what we needed. Clean, surprisingly spacious, and perfectly located. The town centers around Main Street, so you're right in the heart here: great if you want a walking accessible option for food and sight-seeing nearby. The listing mentions a wine-tasting, but the staff was quick remind us that, despite the listing, this perk was just for the B&B guests, that "the penthouse is *only* a VRBO, not part of the B&B" adding to odd feeling of walking around back to get in, as not to enter the actual Inn. Not deal-breakers and overall, in a town where larger accommodations are at a premium, we'd certainly go back.

Beautiful spacious place tucked in the back off the street. Easy to find and decorated nicely. Very comfy beds and up to date. Our only problem was a clogged shower and it’d be great if there was a dishwasher. All worth the price and would recommend and visit again. The fire pits on the private gated patio were a nice bonus. Nice and quiet clean place.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful apartment with lots of room.
Positive: The location was downtown and easy to walk. The house had almost all you would need to enjoy a few days in town, including heaters, coffee and plenty of bedding. Someone else pointed out that this property isn't for the weak of knees and I agree. Thankfully that wasn't a problem for us and if your kids are stair deprived like mine, they might get a kick out of them. Lots of beds. There was room to spread out. I appreciated the decor, so many places I've stayed at keep the walls and shelves bare. The beach is a longer hike away, so if a couple miles is a stretch,you may need a car. Negative: Getting ahold of management at times was tough. I never got a response when I reached out about my reservation, but I did get a check in while we were there. The cabinets in the kitchen felt like they were built for much taller people, so if you are under 6 feet, a stepstool might be handy. The master bedroom had a beautiful bed, but the mattress had no back support, so we switched off with the kids room. There wasn't enough seating at the kitchen table for a family of 5. We couldn't get the oven to work and I never got a response from management on that. An alarm went off at 3am and continued until we left after 7. My family wasn't bothered, but it kept me up. Management did finally get ahold of me after 8 and explained that one of the satellites failed, so all of the wifi operated systems failed. I appreciated the update, but that was a little late as we had already left.

Extremely clean as pictured in the photos. Beds were very comfortable. The location was within walking distance to a delicious bakery and several restaurants. We only had a few problems - I couldn’t get the water in the shower as hot as the water in the sinks, and we also couldn’t get the oven to work (it kept turning off after a few minutes of being on). We would have also liked a few extra linens (a blanket or two) available for the pull out bed. Thank you for a nice stay!

The condo is in a great location and the outdoor patio area was lovely. The unit itself is clean and beautifully appointed. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pans etc.. The beds and linens are very comfortable. The two staircases were a little bit nerve wracking with young children but other than that, we absolutely loved the penthouse. The upstairs loft is super cute. Thank you for the great experience. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful and much needed Girls Trip in HMB. The property was perfect for our group of 5. Everything looked exactly as it did online and the place was very comfortable. We were within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and breweries. The beach is just a little less than a mile away but easier to drive. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect place for our girls getaway! It was situated walking distance from the beach and the downtown area which was prefect for morning walks to the beach and to restaurants. We spent one evening drinking wine in the garden area which was quaint with a fireplace and fountain. The house was perfect for our little crew as we spent mornings drinking coffee and tea in the kitchen which was kindly provided by the host. And we spent most of our time in the cozy living room with beautiful natural light. The home had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy! (The only con about the upstairs loft was I accidentally kept bumping my head on the slanted ceilings 😅 but that’s not really something that they can change or is a game changer- I’d still stay again! Although I can’t see my 6’3” boyfriend faring well up there 😅).

Loved the area amd very quite , nice amd safe Negative: The ad mentioned its sutibale for up to 8 people and we were 7. Two had to sleep on the floor and the second floor is not sutible for tall people as the cielling is low. One bath and o e shower caued people to wait and not really availble when you need it , the place ia good for 4-5 people no more . The price is abit over for what you get in return.

The penthouse is tucked back and very private. We almost didn’t realize we had any neighbors at all. The loft with the two queen size beds was perfect for my children and the king size bed was super cozy. It was easy to walk to shops and some dining, but being a couple blocks away wasn’t ever noisy. I think this is a hidden gem within Half Moon Bay options. Thank you!

The apartment is very nice and matches the descriptions and photos. As soon as we checked-in we needed assistance and quickly the Host helped us to resolve. The beds are really large and very very confortable, and there is a lot of space in the apartment so very convenient for a family. Very easy to reach beaches, restaurants and all kind of shops in the area. We only suggest to the host to check the cleaness of the apartment before guests arrival because some areas needed more care.

Andreia was very responsive in her communication and it was a pleasure to stay at her home. Highly recommend this location!
